The 3 peaks area covers 160 square km. Most of the area is a site of special scientific interest and attracts thousands of people each year and is the most popular outdoor area in the Yorkshire Dales. For this walk you would need to arrange your own accommodation, In Horton there are 2 pubs, bed and breakfasts, campsites and bunk barns, the nearest YHA hostel is located in Ingleton.
