Kit List

This is a guide of kit list that you should bring along with you. If you’re unsure about anything please contact us at any time.

Walking Boots – should have good ankle support and be worn in and also carry spare laces
Hiking socks
Waterproof jacket
Waterproof trousers
Rucksack which is big enough for all your kit
Head torch with spare batteries
Map and compass on navigation course you will be told what map to bring with you
Food and drink – at least one litre of liquid more on a hot day food a packed lunch plus spare food high energy bars
Mobile phone which is charged up
sun protection
Sun hat
Sun glasses
First aid kit
Bivy bag
Layered clothing – wear a wicking thermal base layer plus fleece layer plus spare soft shell trousers or shorts if warm
Wild camping you’ll need to carry the following:
Stove/spare fuel
Cooking equipment
Sleeping mat
Sleeping bag
Spare clothes
Spare container for water
Tissue/Toilet paper
Hand gel
Food – boil in the bag type stuff food for packed lunch then evening meal breakfast and lunch
Drink tea/coffee
Knife, fork, spoon or Spork
