Wharfedale 3 peaks Blog

The Wharfedale 3 peaks is a challenge walk that climbs the 3 highest Peaks in Wharfedale which are Great Whernside at 704m, Buckden Pike 702m and Firth Fell at 610m the total distance is 18 miles with 1200 metres of ascent, the aim is to the challenge in under 10 hours, We meet in Kettlewell then climb Great Whernside and Buckden Pike the drop down into Buckden then Climb Firth Fell, cost is £60 per person

Experience the camaraderie of fellow like minded people as you share the sense of achievement, you can use this event to raise money for charity or a training walk for greater challenges

If that is too much then i also do the walk over 3 consecutive days  so it is more of a leisurely pace, we would be based in Kettlewell and climb a peak each day, the walks are circler

Day 1 Great Whernside 10 miles

Day 2 Buckden Pike 11 Miles

Day 3 Firth Fell 10 miles

The cost for the 3 day walk is £160 per person you would need to arrange your own accommodation

Both walk are guided by a mountain leader
