Do you want to learn how to use a compass, use a map, able to plan a walk, get yourself of the hill in bad weather? then our map  reading courses will teach you to do that, the course  will cover  navigation using linear features, using contours, map symbols, types of map, grid references , and using a compass to take bearings and what to do if you find yourself misplaced

Our courses are one day and take place in the Yorkshire Dales, cost is £55 per person
