The Herriot way is a 52 mile long distance path that runs through Wensleydale and Swaledale taking in High fells, rolling heather clad moorland and beautiful valleys, the walk is named after James Herriot a fictional name given to a real life working vet working in the dales.

We will be staying in guest houses/inns, luggage will be transferred daily only one item of luggage per person up to a maximum of 20 kg, so all you need to carry is a day sac. The itinerary could change depending on the availability of accommodation, there will be no more than 12 people plus a guide in the group, the walk starts and finishes in Aysgarth.

- Day 2 Aysgarth- Hawes 13 miles
- Day 3 Hawes-Keld 13 miles
- Day 4 Keld -Reeth 13 miles
- Day 5 Reeth – Aysgarth 13 miles
- Day 6 Depart after breakfast
